The tour begins at Hof, where you'll meet your glacier guide 20 minutes before departure. After a short briefing, you'll be fitted with all the necessary gear – crampons, helmet, ice axe—before heading toward the glacier.

A 20-minute walk brings you to the edge of Falljökull, one of the most visually striking outlet glaciers of Vatnajökull. Along the way, your guide will point out visible signs of glacial retreat, including exposed bedrock, moss lines, and a meltwater lagoon.

Once on the ice, you'll learn how to walk safely with crampons before starting your guided hike. During the tour, you’ll explore impressive ice formations and the unique terrain of the glacier.
